Red Myrrh has a long history of use in the Mediterranean region as fragrance and spice. A more muted, softer myrrh, you'll find an earthy, woody, mildly sweet resin. It produces a high spiritual vibration conducive for prayer and meditation.
The Commiphora Myrrha tree produces a resin which 'leaks' out from the bark solidifying into “tears”. It is available in various grades, which depends on the time of harvesting and what part of the tree it is taken from. The resin is then hand-sorted for quality.
