THE FIRST BURN IS SO IMPORTANT
Standard Tealight - Burn Time between 3-6 Hours
8 oz Candle Jar - Burn Time between 40-50 Hours
16 oz Candle Jar - Burn time between 80-85 Hours
The first burn on any candle is so very important. Many do not realize that candles have a memory! You have to let that candle burn the first time! Make sure that you let the soy candle wax (the melted liquid part) burn all the way to the edges of your container. In doing this, you will ensure the best burn for your candle. If this is not done, there is a good chance that the wax will tunnel and not melt all the way to the edge for future burns. We suggest burning your candle 2-3 hours each time you light it. Some of our larger candles will require more.
Pure Soy Wax Candles are one of the best choices for your home and the environment. Unlike mainstream candles, they contain no harmful ingredients linked to allergy-like symptoms, aggravated asthma or an irritated respiratory tract.
Soy candles burn nearly twice as slow as paraffin, allowing you to enjoy them for twice as long. Additionally, the scent is much stronger and more pleasant. Because of the lower melting point of soy wax, more liquid pools around the wick (releasing fragrance into the atmosphere more easily).
