Like trees in a forest, no two are alike. With glass “leaves” cascading across the top of the orb and “trunk” webbing pulled through the interior from bottom to top, the Tree of Enchantment is a magnificent, eye catching piece in any size.
The story tag reads “When the sun shines through the canopy of a full tree, the leaves break apart the beams of light to create distinct spotlights that light and warm any surface they touch. People in our lives who are positive and try to bring positivity are like the bright beams of sun shining through. Their positivity and light pierce through the dampness and thick canopy of negativity that sometimes surround us. The positive person adds warmth, colour and light to our lives. The Kitras story started in 1988 when husband and wife duo, Stephen and Elke Kitras moved to small town Fergus, Ontario. Stephen had just graduated from Sheridan College. He set up a small studio and produced every piece himself, shipping it from their dining room table.
Kitras Art Glass is proud to be Canada’s largest hot glass studio and to celebrate the Everyday Beautiful with our customers! Although Stephen is still a part of the company, his children have taken a large role in bringing the company forward into a new stage of business. We are proud to remain a family run, made in Canada company with a focus on bringing beautiful glass and gifts into the marketplace.
